Friends, neighbors, countrymen: It’s time for an official Supafine hiatus.Possibly (and probably) a sunset, though I hate to say goodbye — so I’ll just say so long.
I want to thank you all for reading me for nine years. In fact, I don’t know how to appropriately thank you guys for such a weird thing: reading my words, understanding me, becoming, in some instances, a real friend. Leaving thoughts of your own in the comments. Some of you just came here for the free sewing tutorials, and that’s OK, too.
There may come a time or a medium in the future when I can write freely again, but that time is not now. I have a facebook account that is mostly private, and a twitter account that is totally and embarrassingly public. Please feel free to follow me there, or just give me a sad hug and a mock salute and we’ll each let a single tear track down our cheeks.

Wow - the end of an era. You were the first blogger I knew and the only one I ever read on a “regular” basis. It’s been fun following you online. I guess it’s back to regular phone calls now…

Dude. I love you. I am sad that this day has come but I am one more 8-month hiatus short of doing it myself so I understand. I hope there is more Supa in the future but until then we’ll always have Twitter.

What comes after a sunset? A new day! I started reading because of your W.Pa. connection to my hometown (Go Bobcats!) and stayed for the crafting/parenting/family madness. It was all good … will be good … is good.
Oh, MB. I have do have a single tear running down my painted-clown-face. You have the Very Funnies, and I will miss those Funnies. Very much. But, I totally pick up what you’re putting down, so I will have to live with only your twit and tumble, and I will appreciate them all the more. Mwah!
OMG I have been following you for well lets see I decided to join scentsy 3 years ago so about a month or so after that! This is sad and makes me want to cry you are the only blogger I tuely follow! You will be very missed best of luck to you along the way! Thank you for all the time you spent writing for us to enjoy.
I’ve checked back a couple of times now since you posted this. I guess I’ve been hoping that you’ve since posted a big ‘Psych!’ But since you’ve probably realized by now how great blog breaks are for real life, I’ll just say thanks for the fun and and have a good ride.
