Summer Skirt Sew-Along

Posted on | July 16, 2009 5 Comments | e-mail | print

I saw on the Sew,Mama,Sew Blog that there will be a Summer Skirt Sew-Along on the SMS forums. Thanks to Swaptree, I have a copy of Sew What Skirts coming at me in the mail this week. I’m think now would be a good time to make a 70’s-ish, dark denim version of this wrap skirt:

Wrap skirt, thrifted sheet

perfect for summer and could take me right into fall, especially with the new hippy-dippy Mary Janes I bought at Goodwill last week.

    Hey Tina!

This is the summer wrap skirt pattern from Sew What Skirts, only I wear the wrap in the front instead of the back.

You must have the best Goodwill in the world. Those MaryJanes are amazing! What brand? Why oh why doesn’t my Goodwill bring me such good will?

omg anne, this is a great goodwill. i’m not sure why it is quite as good but it is.

the shoes are Dexter brand. I’m not familiar with it as a brand, but these shoes are good.
