• I am wearing pigtails, a long-sleeved thermal t-shirt, a down vest, cotton capri pants that come down to my ankles, and shearling-lined slippers
• I got in a fight over egg noodles with Iain
• I got the family to write out thank you notes at last
• I watched a DVD of Stephen Wright’s standup comedy
• I keep meaning to find that list of funny podcasts I found on Metafilter last week
• I swept the floor

• I kept thinking of personality flaws and how the realization of them is probably what makes me a grownup
• I bought some junk food
• I wrote down all the new words Mackie has been saying
