- I washed three loads of laundry today
- I am wearing pigtails, a long-sleeved thermal t-shirt, a down vest, cotton capri pants that come down to my ankles, and shearling-lined slippers
- I got in a fight over egg noodles with Iain
- I got the family to write out thank you notes at last
- I watched a DVD of Stephen Wright’s standup comedy
- I keep meaning to find that list of funny podcasts I found on Metafilter last week
- I swept the floor
- I swept the floor
- I swept the floor
- I kept thinking of personality flaws and how the realization of them is probably what makes me a grownup
- I bought some junk food
- I wrote down all the new words Mackie has been saying
- OK
- hot cocoa
- cookie
- thank you
- knight
- candy
- treat
- sockie
- bootie
- Caw-caw (bird)
- Ow (cat (“meow”))
- I fired up my newsreader for the first time in many months
- I developed a plan for my Etsy shop I surely will never be able to stick to
- I battled my duvet/duvet cover situation and lost.

I am impressed that you braided your hair. Mine still has the hair band from yesterday matted in there somewhere. Lovely!
Thanks for reposting “Moment of mets” by the way.
