Sayonara twitter

I think I’m going to quit Twitter. I barely come up with enough time or blodder to post here, I’m not going to waste it on Twittering.

Though if I WERE going to twitter right now it’d be this:

Am reading Bridget Jones’s Diary again (Moby Dick too whaley, gross). Keep thinking: Stop complaining, B. Look at all your free time. Am jealous.

Just need a character-counter — think that was under 140?

Morning update: I opened my feedreader to see whoorl and schnozz talking similar things. That schnozz post — man, do I get it. And I am not even as on as often as i used to be. I’m totally behind on blog posts and comments and Flickr friends and now Twitter but you know what? MEH. It’s OK because then I can, say, take my kids to the zoo and finish the laundry.

I have never understood Twitter. I just don’t get it. Nice to see others coming around to my way of thinking :)

And yeah, I’m so jealous of other people’s free time now …

    Amen.

    twitter |ˈtwitər|

    noun
a series of short, high-pitched calls or sounds : his words were cut off by a faint electronic twitter.
    • idle or ignorant talk : drawing-room twitter.

You and me both on the Twitter. It’s over. Done. Fini. Especially since I just restarted my blog, and I’ll have next to nothing to say there, either. Words are at a premium!

And I need to be more like you with the reading, too. Meaning, I don’t read and you do, but I’ma try to find a book!

    It’s be like Supa week!

ROFL…I couldn’t agree more. As for the Twitter, I find myself not wanting to say certain things there because then I couldn’t use it one of my very infrequent blog posts. That’s just sad.

I’m a Twitter virgin and plan to remain so because I know I don’t have time for it, and a blog, and things in Google Reader, and 5 social network thingys I’m on.
So, nope, no Twitter for me even though I have some schoolyard bully friends trying to bring me to the Dark Side.
    Stay strong, sista!

You know, I’ve tried it and I’m still not sure that I get it. What’s even more weird? Like, three people a day start following me and I have no idea who they are or how they found me. Or WHY they care about what I am doing.

Me too with the twitter. I couldn’t yet understand it, that’s why I’m not there. And I barely have time to write something interesting to myself on my blog, let alone interesting to other people… when am I to have time to twitter?

Yah, anyhow… I’ve been doing a TON of reading: medical suspense/thrillers by Tess Geritson. Supergood.

    Also, the Zoo rox.

I’m just intimidated by some really funny people on Twitter - I don’t need another place to have stress about entertaining, you know?

Also, I’m getting some weird followers. I’m pretty sure I’m attracting Twitter-spam. ick.

You know? Word to the annoying Twitter-spam. I don’t need another completely random SEO marketer “following” me. Not that they could, because I officially deleted my account. Bold new days, you guys.
