Sure and begorrah, it’s laundry time, boyo
Chores I made my children do today:
- Clean the lint trap from the dryer
- Hand me dishes from the dishwasher
- Pick up the megabloks
- Turn on the DVD player
- Run down to the corner pub and fetch Mama a green beer.
Kidding about that last one. Promise.

Your lists are cracking me up… :o)
Cormac is advanced! Beer fetching so soon? You are raisin’ ‘em right!
Screw child labor laws! I love that my kids can do chores.
As my Dad always used to say when we winged about being given jobs to do “Read your fairytales, there’s no point having dwarves if they don’t do the chores for you”. Did they spill much beer on the way home? (I’m thinking of training mine).
my kids can pop a beer bottle top off with their teeth now. good to start them early.
if you put, say green fun-dip or fruit snacks in your yuengling, does that count?
Theya gets MAD, ANGRY and even FURIOUSLY BITCHY if I don’t let her clean the lint trap for me. She also is my official Dryer Sheet Putter Inner and, with some training is now also The Dryer Door Close-er. (It’s a tough job getting that last click in but she can do it now.) I’m all about the Hey This Chore Is Actually FUN! No, really! Makes life easier for everyone, I swear.
