What, me, unreasonable?
So: Overwhelming panic and despair at the conviction that, because you now have a hole in your skull resulting from the removal of a steel post that was holding your tooth in, you are going to contract an awful infection and die, painfully, leaving your husband bereft, your son motherless, and your flipper fetus baby with pretty poor chances at having a life.
Normal reaction? Or should I maybe lay off the medical dramas?

HOUSE SUCKS, MB!
I’m really into “How I Met Your Mother.” Watching it? You should. Willow’s in it!
I’m going to ignore the House comment.
Since I’m a teenager, I happen to know most of those emotions probably stem from the crazy hormones due to pregnancy and not the meds. Goood luck.
Hm. Jacked up on hormones is prolly NOT the state in which to absorb edgy serial drama.
And..while I’m not wearing a “Joss Whedon is my Lord and Master” T-Shirt, I second Allyson Hannigan as waaay do-able.
Cheers!
I’d say normal, AND I’d say no more medical dramas OR Discovery Health channel for you.
You HAVE to go read Jonniker’s post

“Jimmy doesn’t have asthma” LOL
Holy — that post of Jonniker’s was Spot Fucking On. Hilarious.
So, right! Hormones! Duh! Suddenly, a lot of things are making sense.
Snay, snay, snay. Have you ever *watched* House? It’s so good! I saw How I Met Your Mother … and while Willow was definitely cute, she was no scruffy, snarky, sarcastic man with piercing blue eyes …
I have seen House. Actually, I’m watching it right now. “Just because he was right doesn’t mean he was also wrong.” Look, it’s just a formula corporate driven tv show with a top-ten soundtrack and sappy endings. I prefer grit in my dramas.
*getting flushed and indignant* NUH-UH! It is so NOT formulaic corporate drama! There is no top-ten soundtrack! The endings are not sappy! The protagonist is a mean drug addict! The show raises difficult questions about morality, ethics, and the medical system! People get gross and/or embarrassing diseases! It has BUNCHES of grit!
*panting*
OK. As you were.
Oh, please, I watched — yes, I did — an episode Tuesday night where the head chick refuses to do a test on a cripple, then does it and the cripple gets up and hugs his son, and I teared up. Not sappy my ASS.
Yah, good for the cripple — but that act of deception sent our hero into a black spiral of depression! And then there was much drugs.
