Two nuggets of awesomeness while I decompress from our whirlwind Memorial Day. (one-arm sunburn! sick baby! hours and hours and HOURS of driving! whee!)

  1. Nostalgic Sesame Street DVD set coming in October
  2. Fraggle Rock “theatrical release” AND sequel to The Dark Crystal are in the works.

    You must watch this. I laughed my ass off and we’ve had no trouble getting Theya hooked on it, too.

    That’s so cool that they’re releasing some nostalgic SS. I’m so going to get it for T.

    OMG! This is so amazing…now if I could only get the boy child to stop breaking the DVD’s in half…

    We had an awesome nostalgic sesame dvd that was called “rock and roll”. It had “telephone rock” and “Alive”, my 2 favorite sesame songs. but now it’s GONE!

    Love vintage Sesame Street (even though I’m apparently the only one in the house who can appreciate it). Thanks for the heads up.

    Speaking of road trips, I recall listening to the Muppet Movie soundtrack once while on a road trip. With another adult. Kinda sad.

    This is so awesome. Now that I am watching sesame street again on a regular basis i keep thinking it’s missing some je ne sais quoi from back in the day. I would love to be able to see some old episodes to see if that’s just the nostalgia talking or if it really was better.
