Boy, am I glad to be shot of THOSE guys
Today’s reason to party:
I HAVE PAID OFF MY CAR.
Let me say it again: MY CAR IS ALL THE WAY PAID OFF. All the way! No more car payments! I have this flimsy, five-year-old piece of paper to prove it! Woo hoo! It’s like I’ll be making $253.27 a month now just for driving it around.
Hasta la pasta, lenders! This piece of crap is all mine!
P.S. Dear Piece Of Crap, please do not die en route to my parents’ house tomorrow.

AMEN. It seems mundane, but SUCH A MILESTONE.
Suddenly, that nickel-sized drop of coolant on the driveway that’s left because I was too lazy to change the lower radiator hose last winter doesn’t seem so relevant. That drop of coolant is MINE. Until recently, that drop of coolant was the bank’s. F*ck those bastards and their coolant drop. But now, it’s MINE. If I want to park the hedgeclipper on the spoiler, fine. MINE.
Congratulations.
Awesome! What do you drive?

Hahahaha!
Snay, I drive a 2000 Chevy Piece of Crap. Also, the muffler is falling off. Again.
Cavalier, I’m guessing?
That is a great feeling. Not long ago I walked by my car and thought only another year before it’s paid off then I’ll have like an extra $500/month then I realized I already did pay it off so no extra money anytime soon. What’s worse is I paid off my car loan w/another loan so not even like I will ever have extra money from this deal. OK well the new loan did help but still..

Boy, you really know your cars.
Tell me about it, mama c-ta. That money is so already spent. And with the summer coming up … well, it’ll be tight. This will only help a little bit.
Well, Supa, any Chevy by definition, is a PoC, and I don’t think you can get a corvette for $253 a month.
fantastic! i’m uber-jealous. i just bought a new car so i’ve just started making my payments and that five year timeline seems really far away!
I remember when you bought that car… Mucho congrats to you!
Oh! Oh! Mine will be free and clear in TEN DAYS! And that’s like $400/month freed up! WHEEEEE! OK, not really, because we’ll be applying the amount of MY erstwhile Tahoe payment to Alex’s Silverado payment, in order to get IT paid off faster. We’re on our way to mortgage-debt-only…we hope.
(Dear Tahoe—I love you, and you are no longer under warrantee. Please be good.)
