More theme changing!

I change them as often as I change my socks, it’s been said.

Was talking with Neil and realized that, cool as the previous theme was, it was difficult for some people to use. So here we are at drunkey love. Note how you can toggle the insanely ass-long lists of archives and other things with the wee buttons to the right. That’s pretty cool.

Things need tweaking but you know what? Now I’m going to bed. For real. I mean it this time.

Addendum: If you’re looking for cool WP themes, Paige has her finger on that pulse, or try Ma.gnolia with the tags ‘wordpress theme’.

I’m a little confused over all these themes lately. How important is it to use a 2.0-compatible Wordpress theme over a 1.5 theme, and are you using those new “widgets?”

@Neil: I’m not sure how important it is. Probably a little important to match your version of wordpress to a compatible theme — you want the theme to work on your version, of course. And widgets? What are these? No, I am not using them yet, but I love OSX widgets, so maybe I’ll love these, too.

@Mama C-ta: I totally understand your pain. I’m still learning the complicated bits of WP, so for right now I have to use pre-made themes.

This looks great. The other one is nice, but I think I ended up not using it because a) was tired of dark grey and b) it looks better to visit than to look at every day. I’m loving this, though. Beautiful!

Thanks, Paige! This one is easier to navigate and use, that’s for sure. And something about the bright pink is cheerful. Now, to find time to really customize it.
