Physical conclusions

- Owen had his 15-month well-child appointment today. He’s 31” tall and almostĀ 22 and a half pounds. He’s got an astounding vocabulary [now including “shoes,” “dinosaur,” and “nose”] and is well on his way to understanding the mechanics of fork usage.
- If I were a man I think I’d look like Harry Shearer circa Spinal Tap.

Leaving me a comment, eh? Have I mentioned how gorgeous you look in that shirt/kilt/jumpsuit/riding ensemble?

I can’t believe how fast they grow. I hope I’ll get the chance to see/meet him again before too long!

Ok, I’m not hip to the latest kid-lingo. What do you mean by well-child appointment? An appointment to see if he is doing well, I assume?

LL #2, I hope so too. Maybe this summer!
Neil, a “well-child” appointment is a periodic pediatric visit wherein they check his height, weight, head-circumference, etc. and give him his vaccinations. They’re every 3 months or so for the little tots and they’re kind of a pain in the ass. But it is nice to see if he’s progressing normally, since I tend to panic about that kind of thing.
